GOOD LUCK AND FAREWELL TO SCHOLARSHIP AWARDEES 2018

On Thursday, 30 August 2018, a reception was held at Plantation House to recognise, celebrate, and wish well the five Scholarship Awardees for 2018.

Each Scholarship Awardee, having completed their initial studies on-Island, will now enrol on specific higher education university courses in their chosen career paths at different universities in the United Kingdom.

The five Scholarship Awardees for 2018 are:

Jordan Stevens, awarded the Commonwealth Fellowship Scholarship, has been accepted at the University of Warwick to complete a BA in English and History

Regan Backhouse, awarded a Prince Andrew Post School Student Scholarship, has been accepted at the Bishop Grosseteste University to complete a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Special Educational Needs & Inclusion

Scott George, awarded a Prince Andrew Post School Student Scholarship, has been accepted at the University of Surrey to complete a BEng in Aerospace Engineering

Niza Yon, awarded a Prince Andrew Post School Student Scholarship, has been accepted at the University of Brighton to complete an LLB in Law

Adam Fowler, awarded a Prince Andrew Post School Student Scholarship, has been accepted at the University of Portsmouth to complete a BEng in Electronics & Communications Engineering

Alongside the five Scholarship Awardees 2018, Zedella Young was also recognised having been awarded a prestigious Foreign & Commonwealth Office Chevening Scholarship. Zedella will undertake a year-long Master's Degree in Strategic Tourism Management & Marketing at the University of Surrey.
