CAPE TOWN, The South African Parliament says 29 committees are expected to sit this week with Public Enterprises Minister Lynn Brown and her deputy among those who are set to appear before the various committees this week.
Brown and her department will appear before the Public Enterprises Committee on Tuesday morning. The same committee will then resume with the inquiry into State-owned power utility Eskom for alleged State capture in the afternoon.
The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), the South African Reserve Bank and the Financial Services Board are among the South African regulatory and statutory bodies which will appear before a joint Parliamentary committee.
The joint committee comprises members from the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA), the Committee on Finance as well as the Public Service and Administration Committee.
